PLC or Programmable Logic Controller is a controller which controls the task logically on the basis of desired Program.
PLC is a evolution from the Manual Controlling, then to Hydraulic, Hardwired, and Electronic Control.
PLC is a backbone of controller. The Summer/Vocational/Industrial Training is a way to tell the students about automation and how the plants are controlled using automated processes.
The Industries has a number of PLCs, and the different plants have the different PLC. Through the Vocational Training, student or the trainee becomes able to adjust with every type of PLC weather he has worked on it or not.


SCADA or Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition is a software which is designed to control the plant using a GUI or a Live Animation of plant which shows the realistic data of Plant.
SCADA has several features like Security, Alarms, Recipe, Trends, Database Connectivity and Connectivity with PLC.
Through the Vocational Training, trainee is able to design the SCADA for any plant, and able to control and monitor over predefined SCADA system. The Training helps to make the trainee understand about the Licensing Concepts for SCADA, tagging concepts, the Analog and Discreet Values, PLC connectivity. If the SCADA is interfaces with the PLC, any logical input can be controlled by PLC through SCADA by the user, without actually going to the Plant.


HMI or Human Machine Interface is a interaction of Man and Machine. HMI is a medium for exchanging the information or a communication between the user and the electromechanical machines. HMIs are available with touchpad, and with rubber keypad buttons.
HMI is first programmed by the PC, and then communicate with PLC to control the operation.
HMI is generally used to control the small operations or to control the limited number of operations.
Through the vocational training, trainee is able to work over different HMIs of different venders. Not only the trainee able to work over HMI, but the trainee becomes able to design the logical concepts to HMI according to the process.


VFD or Variable Frequency Drive is used to control motor speed by controlling the frequency of the operating voltage. When the VFDs were not evolved, the different techniques were used to control the speed of motor. Those technique had more maintenance. The mechanical gear is an example of those techniques.
As VFDs evolved a big change came in motor controlling operation.
Through the vocational training, trainee is able to control the motor speed using different VFDs parameter. The different VFD parameters such as Operating Speed, Speed Reference, Stopping Mode, Acceleration and Deceleration Time is been taught to the trainee. The trainee becomes also able to link or able to communicate the VFD with the controller or PLC.


DCS or Distributed Control System is the enhanced controller which provides the reliability to the controlling operation. The Distributed Control System has multitasking operation i.e. it has a single controller while the I/Os are distributed over the field and connected as per the operation through various communication channels like System Bus.
DCS need a skilled and experienced person to controlling and troubleshooting it. Through the vocational training, trainee is able to have control over DCS cards, he can troubleshoot the faults in DCS, and he becomes able to create the logical program for DCS.


HVAC or Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning is the control system which controls the environment within required parameter with cost effectiveness which is compatible with the need.
Through the vocational training, trainee becomes able to design the HVAC control system with using the sequence as; defining the Objective, defining the problem, defining the alternative solution, evaluating the alternative, selecting an alternative, checking of the alternative (weather it would really solve the problem), Implementing the selected alternative, and last but not the least evaluating the goal.
